"I've suffered from dry eyes ever since
I can remember. Years ago when the burning and itching were
especially bothersome I visited an eye doctor and was told to use
over-the-counter eye drops. The problem never really seemed to go
away so I chalked it up to the "air" in my office.
Recently I was reading a magazine article that included
information on dry eyes. The article suggested calling an
Ophthalmologist's office to inquire about 'eye
plugs'. I made an appointment with Dr. Joy and was impressed
with how quickly I got in. Dr. Joy tested my eyes and discovered
I produced zero tears. After trying prescription eye drops and
night ointments I was fitted with eye plugs. The procedure took a
couple of seconds per eye and my eyes have never felt better! Now
for the first time I'm able to wear contact lenses.

"I have high blood pressure so my family
doctor suggested I see an Ophthalmologist for an eye exam. I made
an appointment with Dr. Joy and got in the next day. He explained
that high blood pressure is a risk factor for glaucoma. He used
his new HRT machine to test my eyes and luckily everything
checked out ok. He was a really nice guy and made me feel very
comfortable. I'll definitely go back to him for my next
exam.
